Quotation Provisions and Disclaimers

1. ESTABLISHMENTS

a) Establishment fees are charged to cover the cost of our preparation and supply of materials, equipment and personnel to the worksite.

b) One establishment fee is charged per crew per on-site visit. Additional establishment costs and fees will be charged for each work day thereafter if required.

 

2. WAITING/ STANDBY TIME

a) Waiting time will be charged for any delays to our productivity which are caused by our client or client's other trades: This can also include traffic control, remaining on site during inclement weather conditions and delays caused whilst the site requires cleaning.

b) Waiting time is chargeable at $195.00 per hour

c) Minimum Charge Fee Per Crew will be charged for any works that does not achieve the confirmed scope of works given by the client prior

 

3. TRAFFIC CONTROL

a) Traffic control shall be provided by the client or client's sub-contractor unless specified otherwise in our quotation.

 

4. SITE CLEANING, SURVEY, SET OUT AND SPOTTING OUT

a) Ancillary preparation work is not included in our quoted rates and are to be provided by the client, unless otherwise

stated. A site cannot be accepted for coating or linemarking suitability if dirty, wet or covered in trade waste. No warranty will be provided to these areas if you confirm you still want to continue with works and must be followed up in writing.

b) Marking out & survey is to be provided by the client, it should be at a maximum of 3 metre centres on bends and a maximum of 5 metre centres elsewhere. Marking out can be provided at additional charge.

 

5. INDUCTIONS

a) Site specific inductions including Online Inductions of longer than one hour will incur "waiting time" charges unless otherwise agreed beforehand.

b) Extraordinary Inductions are chargeable at our cost.

 

6. TESTING COMPLIANCE

a) Compliance Testing is a chargeable option. This includes retro reflectivity, skid resistance & texture depth testing with the addition of written reports.

 

7. WORK VARIATIONS

a) Quotations are prepared on information provided by the client: additional work requirement will be charged at market rates or agreed price, as variations to the work order. All work will be subject to a final measurement on completion and charged accordingly.

 

8. MATERIALS USED

a) The correct choice of material to suit the specific site conditions is essential: if not specified, we will nominate and use what we consider the best product for purpose.

b) Materials will only be applied in suitable and appropriate weather conditions; any request otherwise will have to be verified in writing by the client.

 

9. CAUTION

a) Any new or existing concrete surfaces that show signs of chalky or soft concrete, adhesion cannot be guaranteed. No warranty will be provided. Concrete hardeners may help adhesion of coatings and can be applied at an extra cost but BRICK N PAVE will not be held liable if issues still persist.

b) Cracks - Cracks are defects in concrete and asphalt pavements. Pavements (constructed by others) that are presented to BRICK N PAVE for coating works that contain cracks will not be covered by our warranty for any coating issues directly attributable to those cracks. Cracks cannot be repaired. If directed to do so, they can be filled by BRICK N PAVE, but particularly in the case of dynamic cracks they will fail, for which BRICK N PAVE accepts no responsibility, and will not be deemed a defect of our works, or covered by our warranty.

c) All new or old concrete surfaces must be acid high pressure water blasted to assist with adhesion at an additional cost.

d) New concrete surfaces require a minimum curing time of 14 days; surfaces with curing compounds require a minimum 6-8 weeks to degrade and may require high pressure Waterblasting or grinding prior to priming and painting application.

e) Wax based curing compounds cannot and will not be guaranteed for adhesion.

f) Temporary linemarking on construction sites are not warranted due to the nature of activity on the worksite

g) Colour Variations - Wherever possible the total area to be coated must be made available to BRICK N PAVE so that coatings can be applied continuously and seamlessly without interruption, over the entire pavement. This will ensure a consistent colour/finish throughout the installation. If coating works are forced to be installed in stages, slight colour/finishes may occur from stage to stage which is out of the installers control, and will not be considered a defect, or covered by our warranty.

 

10. ACCEPTANCE OF OUR QUOTATION

a) A written order/contract is required as and on acceptance of our quotation & conditions mentioned here within.
b) Work cannot be scheduled prior to receiving a written confirmation.

 

11. SCHEDULING OF WORK

a) All planning and scheduling of site visits is to be arranged through our Operations personnel and not our Site staff, to avoid conflicts of services.

b) Cancellation of booking must be done 4 hours prior to crew leaving BRICK N PAVE depot

 

12. CUSTOM REPORTING

a) Client specific reporting/invoicing is a chargeable option which is charged at $80.00 per hour.

 

13. IN HOUSE DESIGNING

a) BRICK N PAVE can provide in house custom CAD designs as part of our service, but is a chargeable option which is charged at $80.00 per hour.

 

14. PRICING

a) This quotation is valid for a period of 30 days from date of issue, but may be subject to change in accordance with clause 6.2 of our standard terms and conditions.
