Brick N Pave employs in excess of 30 full-time staff throughout its divisions and has a vast network of part-time and sub-contract tradesmen available.
Each member of the Brick N Pave team brings their own experience and expertise to their role.

The core Management team and key Sales staff are detailed below, however there are many people who work in conjuction with these managers and sales staff  to assist you in all your requirements.

Management Team

Peter Gascard - Director

Peter GascardCompany Director Peter Gascard, founded Shannon Tower Pty Ltd trading as Andlaur Paving & Construction in July 1992 after leaving Rocla Pavers & Masonry, where he worked as a Supervisor in the Contract Paving Division.

Andlaur Paving became a key sub-contractor to Rocla Paving, successfully installing in excess of 200,000 square metres of paving into commercial and industrial pavements during July 1992 to September 1996.

In September 1996, Rocla closed down the Victorian manufacturing plant, releasing Greg Steele to join Peter as co-directors of Shannon Tower Pty Ltd.  Greg took over the sales and business operations, allowing Peter to focus on construction.

Peter has always maintained a "hands-on" approach to the running of Andlaur Paving (now called Brick N Pave Construction) and still spends much of his time on site dealing directly with our clients and working alongside our various paving crews.

Whilst construction is his primary focus, Peter still finds time to involve himself in the other aspects of Brick N Pave business operations.

Peter's vast practical knowledge of pavement construction, underpinned by formal training in Civil Engineering, and assisted by Jason Schefman our Sales Manager, and Travis McGuire our Construction Manager, allows Brick N Pave to tender for all paving works including the largest and most complex pavement designs.



Felicity Pleasants - Operations Manager

Felicity PleasantsFelicity has approximately 20 years experience in this industry.  She previously worked for Rocla Pavers in a Sales role, before moving to their despatch department as Despatch Manager for 5 years.  Felicity then moved on to C & M Brick, working in their despatch department, before joining Brick N Pave in 1996.

Felicity commenced with Brick N Pave in a Sales/Administration role at our previous Dandenong office.

As the Brick N Pave business increased, so did Felicity's role and responsibilities.  Felicity has held her current position as Operations Manager since around 2000.  Her previous positions have allowed her to gain many valued years of experience in aspects of retail/trade sales, as well as obtaining a strong knowledge of administering the operations of the whole Shannon Tower Pty Ltd business.




Naomi Lee - Administration/Web Support

Naomi has worked in Administration/Accounts for approximately 12 years.  Naomi has a vast knowledge of business practices obtained over many years.  She has strong computer skills and knowledge and is able to interact well with fellow co-workers and with our customers.  Naomi also has formal qualifications in Business Administration and Bookkeeping.

Naomi joined Brick N Pave in 2006 as a temp, handling the accounts department whilst Felicity Pleasants was on maternity leave.

Naomi was welcomed back to Brick N Pave in September 2007 when a permanent position became available in Administration.
Naomi currently handles most aspects of the administration side of the Brick N Pave business, as well as offering support to all departments of Brick N Pave.

Jason Schefman - Sales Manager - Construction

Jason SchefmanJason has over 10 years of experience in the paving and construction industry.  He has previously worked for Boral Masonry and Victorian Paving Mart.  Jason also ran his own business and has supervised many large commercial projects.  Jason is extremely hard working and this is reflected in his attention to detail.  Jason is skilled in many areas and is able to carry out tasks on-site and coordinated construction projects with all employees and sub-contractors.

Jason joined Brick in Pave in 2007 to manage the Construction Division.  Since beginning at Brick N Pave, Jason has improved existing relationships with many of our customers, as well as actively incerasing the presence of StreetPrint within Victoria.







 

Queensland:


Greg Steele - Director

Greg SteeleCompany Director Greg Steele has been involved in the Construction Industry for over 20 years.

Greg commenced in residential landscape design and construction before joining Amatek Limited trading as: Rocla Pavers and Masonry (formerly known as Monier Pavers and Masonry).

Greg spent 7 years with market leaders - Rocla, running the Contract Paving Division as Paving Manager, before being promoted to Commercial Sales Manager - Vic, taking responsibility for a sales team dealing with all aspects of commercial sales including technical specification support to Engineers, Architects and Government Departments.

Greg has considerable experience and formal training in business management, contract negotiation, trade practices, customer service, concrete technology, ceramic tile technology, paving and retaining wall construction, "StreetPrint" asphalt decorative treatments, and landscape design and construction.

After leaving Rocla to join Peter Gascard at Shannon Tower Pty Ltd in 1996 and establish Brick N Pave offices in Melbourne suburbs Dandenong and Narre Warren, Greg moved from Melbourne to Noosa, Queensland in 1998 to establish the Brick N Pave business in that region and further grow the business into Brisbane, Gold Coast and Northern New South Wales.

Greg continues to travel to our Melbourne office for one week every month to oversee business operations, and is always available to our valued customers and suppliers during these trips.



Randal Black - State Manager (Qld/NSW)

Randal has a background in Sales and Marketing across various industries.

Prior to joining Brick N Pave in 2004, Randal owned and operated his own landscape and garden centre.  He relished in assisting home owners in designing their projects and with selecting the best products to suit their requirements.

Randal was previously the State Manager for a corporate bulk soil and manufacturing business.  His role there required him to deal with Architects, Landscapers, Local and State Goverment departments and also major food outlets.

The experience and knowledge Randal has obtained throughout his career has been invaluable since he joined Brick N Pave.  His ability to relate to a broad spectrum of clients is second to none.  Randal has excelled in assisting our current customers, as well as being able to offer new and innovative ideas within the Decorative Asphalt industry.




Toby Rylance - Office/Sales Manager - Brisbane

Toby has been involved with various arms of the construction industry for 14 years.
He joined the Brick N Pave team in 2006 as Construction Coordinator. His role has since evolved into Office/Sales Manager for our Brisbane office. Toby has built strong relationships with many of the Municipal councils located in the western region of Brisbane, including Toowoomba, Warwick, Kingaroy, Dalby, Gatton and Beaudesert as well as caring for the regions north of Brisbane on the Sunshine Coast including Redcliff, Pine Rivers and Caboolture.

Toby has also maintained a high involvement with various Design Groups and Main Roads Department projects across this spectrum.

Toby has continued our outstanding working relationship with our existing client base, whilst indroducing new ideas to entice prospective clients, utilitising our full range of decorative asphalt treatments, under the StreetPrint banner.



Chris Michel - Project Administrator

Chris joined Brick N Pave in 2004, straight from university. He has been "climbing the ladder within Brick N Pave since he joined us.

Chris was first employed as a casual labourer. From there, he was offered a full-time position in one of our many StreetPrint crews. He then went on to be a Leading Hand, in charge of running a crew installing StreetPrint.

In 2007, a position as Project Administrator presented, which Chris took on with a view to furthering his experience and contribution to Brick N Pave.

The experience Chris gained in his previous roles with Brick N Pave has given him an extensive knowledge of StreetPrint and allowed him to excel in his current role.
Chris now manages our projects from the early stages, right through to completion.



Joel Tibbitts - Supervisor, Construction

Joel commenced with Brick N Pave in August, 2004 as a casual labourer.  He was appointed a full-time position shortly after and developed into a Leading Hand, before being promoted to Construction Supervisor in 2006.

Joel is in charge of the day-to-day runnin of the crews, and keeping a check on quality control across all projects. 
He is also responsible for the development of employee's training to be Leading Hands.

In conjunction with the Project Administrator, Joel keeps everything on-site running as smoothly as possible, and guarantees every job is completed to the highest Brick N Pave standards.

 

Key Sales Staff - Head Office


Peter Coleman - Sales Consultant

Peter has been in the paving industry for over 12 years.  Prior to joining Brick N Pave in 2008, Peter owned and operated his own business, mainly completing residential paving and retaining wall projects and working at schools.

Peter is generally the first point of contact for our retail customers.  Peter's experience allows him offer the best advice on product selection and design layout and construction.
